Class Actions
How do I know if I can join a class action?
I bought a product that I think was falsely advertised. I have heard there might be a class action. How do I join?

In many class actions you do not need to “join” at the start. If a court certifies the class, people who fit the class definition are typically included automatically and are notified about their rights.
Things you can do now:
- Keep your receipt, packaging or account statements as proof of purchase.
- Search court records or reputable news coverage for any existing case.
- Contact the law firm listed on official filings, or a consumer lawyer, to ask whether your situation fits.
This is general information, not legal advice — speak to a licensed lawyer about your situation.
