Associate Lecturer in Law

As the Law School enters its next phase of development and expansion with increased student numbers and the planned relocation of the School to iconic premises in Le Mans Crescent in the heart of Bolton Town Centre (as part of the University’s new multi-million estates strategy), we are seeking to enhance its current staffing capability with highly qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Associate Lecturers.

To that end, we are seeking Associate Lecturers, from the summer, to support our teaching of a range of undergraduate disciplines. You will deliver outstanding teaching and undertake marking, module direction and academic administrative management activities within the Law School including where appropriate undergraduate tutorial and skills classes. Teaching activities are likely to be in one or more of the following subject areas: human rights, legal skills and business law areas.

The role will provide an opportunity for an enthusiastic early career academic to develop and gain a wide range of experience in teaching, learning and assessment practice.

We are seeking people with a good background in Law. You will have a degree/higher degree in a relevant discipline, and preferably some professional experience as well as be nearing completion of a PhD (or willingness to commence a PhD).
