Graduate Tutor in Law

Northumbria Law School has an excellent significant reputation both for excellent research and for learning and teaching education and is looking to appoint a Graduate Tutor in Law who will contribute to research and teaching delivery. As part of this developmental, potentially 5 year role, you will undertake a full-time PhD.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate wishing to engage in research and enterprise activity, whilst developing and delivering excellent learning and teaching to a range of students.

Ideally, you will have some previous work experience in legal practice and will be a postgraduate in a relevant discipline (experience of practice as a solicitor or at the Bar would be advantageous but is not essential). Capable of doctoral study and international publication, you will develop the skills to deliver teaching on a range of Law School modules. The ability to teach in the Student Law Office or on the Bar Professional Training Course would be desirable but not essential. Ideally your research interests will align with existing Northumbria Law School research strengths, though other research interests will be considered.
