Senior Lecturer in Construction Law

Directly across from Madam Tussaud’s, our Ambika P3 Gallery is a 14,000 sq ft space in an underground hangar, once a vast concrete construction hall. Built in the 1960s, it was used to test materials for Spaghetti Junction and the Channel Tunnel, before becoming one of the capital’s hidden gems for media, arts and design.

The Department of Property & Construction in the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at the University of Westminster recruits high-calibre students from across the globe and seeks to develop their knowledge and employability, ensuring high levels of student satisfaction. We are looking to expand our teaching strength and this is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated and dynamic team.

This part time role includes the delivery and development of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, enhancing knowledge transfer, developing short courses, research and consultancy in construction law. The candidate must have practical legal experience and should ideally have experience of teaching construction law and a flair for developing innovative teaching and learning methods.

The post is likely to operate as 2 days per week. Working days will be agreed with the post holder but there is some flexibility within the bounds of the teaching timetable. Some evening teaching is expected.
